Chapter 1
I was born on 28th of April 1990. Exactly at 11.27am. As you know I don’t remember any of it. Actually it is completely blank till I walk. Well I have got a dark wavy hair and dark brown eyes. My grandparents from both sides were very fond of me. I remember that.
I live somewhere between Maharagama and Piliyandala. My home sweet home situated in a nice location surrounded by good neighbours. But I don’t have these things such as noisy vehicles, polluted & carbonized air, 30C+ heat…etc.
When I was four my parents guided me to a preschool called “foundation”. When I was five I went to another preschool in Maharagama. It was a church, I am Buddhist. Well it doesn’t matter. Ehem…ehem..I have got a photographic memory of its surroundings and oh one thing very clear. Four teachers were guiding us. Among them I liked someone very much. Well because she was simply fair, tall, beautiful and talking too much. But she got married just before we left that institute. So I missed her (not really). After many years I realized that it was my very first crushJNo, no I’m just kidding.
Chapter 2
Now begins the most favourite chapter of my life. I met my second family, President’s College Maharagama. I don’t know how to express my love to my beloved school. Grade 1 to 13 means over thirteen years of my life has been spent there without any trouble. Now I’m 20 years old. I had to leave my high school last year. To me it was a tragic.
Grade 9 to 13 (2004-2009) were my golden years. I had so many experiences during this period. I have learnt lot of things about life. But surprisingly I’m still learning and I can’t see the end.
Chapter 3
In these twenty years of my life I have never failed an exam, not even that scholarship exam in grade 5. In 2008 & 2009, I became kind of a famous guy among all classes I attended (well I think so). I don’t know how but whatever I did in the class, it was rocking. Wow what a time!
But unfortunately I didn’t understand the exact meaning of Advanced Level. So consequently I missed the competition. As I said above, it couldn’t fail me. Yea I passed the exam. But you know my results were not good enough for the university entrance. So I had to take a decision about my future. There were two possible options. (1). Leave higher education & do a job or
(2). Give a last try
What did I do?........................................................................................................
Chapter 3
I don’t want to make you impatient. Well I chose the second option. I decided to do A/L again. I am optimistic about my chances of success. It helped me to take this risk.
